Code Review Party and review-party.com are run by Hughes Software LLC.
The app
Code Review Party runs entirely on your Mac. What it records about your work (diffs, snapshots of
changed files, the agent's narratives, your questions and the answers) is stored in a SQLite
database in the app's data folder, ~/Library/Application Support/com.review-party.codereviewparty,
and nowhere else. There is no account and no telemetry.
The app makes two kinds of network request of its own, both to static files with no logs kept of who fetched them:
- When it starts, and every few hours, it fetches
https://review-party.com/releases/latest.jsonto see whether a newer version exists. - Only if a license key is installed, it fetches
https://review-party.com/licenses/revoked.jsonat the same times, the list of keys revoked after a refund or chargeback. The app compares it with your key on your Mac; your key isn't sent.
Neither request carries an identifier beyond what any HTTP request carries: your IP address and the app's version.
Communication between the app and Claude Code happens on your machine, over 127.0.0.1. Narratives and answers are produced by your Claude Code session; what Claude Code sends to Anthropic is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy, and is the same whether or not this app is running.
License keys are verified on your Mac against a public key built into the app. Entering a key sends nothing anywhere.
If a license is revoked, its id (a random string like lic_x8Kq2…, not your name or email) and the reason are published in that list.
This website
review-party.com is static files. It sets no cookies, loads no analytics and no third-party scripts. The host's standard access logs (IP address, page, time) are kept briefly for operating the site.
Buying a license
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, name, email and billing address and processes them under its own privacy policy; we never see your card number. From Stripe we receive your name, email, the company name you typed if any, and the purchase details. We use them to issue your license key, email it to you, answer support requests, and keep the records tax law requires. We don't send marketing email and don't share this information with anyone except as needed to run the purchase (Stripe, and Amazon Web Services, which hosts the key-issuing function and sends the email).
The license key itself contains your name and email, so the app can show who it's licensed to. It's only ever where you put it.
Your rights
Email support@review-party.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Deleting a purchase record ends the license it belongs to; we'll confirm before doing that.
